A Word For God’s People

  • Watching the divisiveness growing in our nation and the lines being drawn more clearly between good and evil, I committed to seeking the face of the Lord about his thoughts on whether we, as His people, are ready for the return of The Bridegroom. As I was in prayer one morning recently I sat quietly and asked God to speak to my heart and to share His heart with me. Before I share what He said to me, let me preface it with what He has been doing in our lives over the past two years.

In 2015, God directed my family to make a huge change in our lives. He asked us to move from where we had lived for the past 30 years and go completely across the country to a place we had never been. In these past two years we have been tested in ways we had never expected, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. The teaching we had received over the years did not hold up. God was merciful as we cried out to Him. He sent us teachers who taught us things we had never experienced nor thought we were ever supposed to experience as Children of The Most High God. We were covered under the Blood of Jesus and therefore hidden under the wing of God. Sure we knew the enemy of God would tempt us and would try to lead us in paths of unrighteousness, but we were under grace and God would see our sin through Jesus. Therefore, we were covered by His blood and not subject to judgement for the sins we were told had already been forgiven through the blood of Jesus. Besides, as we were told, Jesus’ blood covered our sins past, present and future and all we need do is accept His gift of forgiveness and wait for the Rapture to take us to heaven!

When we got settled into our new home, it was like all hell broke loose on us. We cried out to God and pleaded the blood of Jesus but the enemy’s attacks grew more severe. Finally, we began to understand that God was working His perfect work in us. Changing our understanding of who He is and who we are in Him. We asked God to make us into the perfected people He created us to be and who He already sees us as. He began to bring us teachers who teach the “full counsel of God”. Teachers who did not make a “gospel” out of grace, or  love or prosperity or tithing, or eschatology or demons, or angels. Teachers who teach righteousness and justice and love and mercy and eschatology and most of all, becoming perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect. We came to understand “why” we were created and it wasn’t as I learned in Catholic School catechism. We were taught that God made us to know Him, love Him and serve Him in this world. These are indeed principles we should strive to do, but they are not the reason God created us. We were created to become as Christ is! We are to become love, joy, peace, patience, long suffering, etc. To become like Christ, we must learn to suffer as He suffered. We must learn to love as He loved; forgive as He forgave; and preach the Kingdom of God as He preached it.

These past two years have been extremely difficult physically, but we would not trade them  for any other experience. The opportunity to get to know our Heavenly Father and His Son is a much more intimate way to live. He has been preparing us for The Marriage Supper of the Lamb. We now understand the importance of being prepared for His coming by keeping the oil of the Holy Spirit in our lamps. Keeping our hearts and minds in Christ; seeking out teachers who will challenge our relationship to the Father and the Son; and who teach the full counsel  of God as taught by Jesus and His disciples. The New Testament contains many commandments for the children of God. The Gospels were written to us. Don’t let false teachers beguile you into believing that the sins and judgements written in The Gospels were meant for the unsaved or you may find yourself as one of the five foolish virgins when The Bridegroom arrives. Seek the truth while it may be found!

Now, as I promised at the beginning of this writing, here are the direct words God gave me as He shared His heart with me. His words grieved me as I too was a foolish virgin. He directed me to share His heart with all who would listen. He is not a legalistic God. He is the one who sets men and women free. Let Him work HIS perfect work in you!

“This nation has turned against me. My people have been deceived by the false gospel. They have fallen prey to the deceit of the enemy and are attempting to fight up against the demonic spirits who have taken over the hearts and minds of those who do not know Me. Speak to my people and tell them to repent and turn back to me and I will teach them my full counsel and will use them to heal the land. If my people will not repent and turn away from the false gospel currently being taught and seek the truth of my word, sudden destruction will surely come upon this nation as it did in Sodom and Gomorrah. I love my people with a steadfast love and have poured out my mercy and withheld my wrath on this nation waiting for them to repent and seek the truth. I will not withhold my wrath much longer. Turn away from the lukewarm gospel that is lulling you to sleep and wholeheartedly seek my face before it is too late. Darkness has fallen upon this land and the time is coming when no one will be able to hold back the destruction to come. I love you, my children and I beseech you to seek me once again while I may be found. Don’t be like the five foolish virgins who believed they were prepared enough to meet the bridegroom or you will surely find that destruction has come upon you. Run from the false preachers and teachers who are preaching peace and safety, telling you All is well with your soul because you are under the Grace of God who loves you and sees your sins and your lukewarmness only through Jesus. Seek teachers who will challenge you to repent and seek justice, love mercy and walk humbly with me. Seek the truth of my word for yourself and allow my Holly Spirit to work a perfect work in you. If you will turn to me wholeheartedly, I will hear you and I will heal your land and cause you to once again be a a light to the entire world and my voice to the peoples of the world.”

“May the peace of God which passes all understanding keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:7

Perfect Trust is KNOWING that in everything, we are in Him, and He is in us. Therefore we know that nothing is happenstance and He has a plan for all things!
